The
club has been running for many years and has been affiliated
to Surrey Area of NAFAS since 1997.
We hold our meetings mostly
every third Thursday of the month from 7.00 pm to 9.00 pm.
We meet in Brockham School - field entrance,
opposite Star Building Services, Wheelers Lane, Brockham.
This
year's programme is very varied. We have some demonstrations,
talks and some practical evenings plus open demonstrations
to aid funds, raise monies for charity and advertise the Club.
We support NAFAS events and particularly Surrey Area. We also
participate in village events such as the local Flower Show,
Victorian Fair
and have organised Flower Festivals in Christ Church.
The Club try to have at least one outing a year and this year
we went to Highgrove at the invitation of HRH's Price of Wales
and
the Duchess of Cornwall.
We are a friendly bunch who enjoy
flower arranging and are one of the smallest clubs in the
Surrey area.
New members would always be made welcome. Contact
Ann Meadows – meadowsa@lycos.co.uk.
The Flower Club also have a page on the NAFAS
website - Nafas.org.uk.
