Minutes of a Meeting of the Steering Group held at Brockham Green, Brockham on Saturday 1 July 2006 at 12.30 pm

1 APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE
Neil Cummins.
2 SPECIAL MEETING TO AMEND CONSTITUTION
The Secretary noted that the meeting had been properly convened and two thirds of the Steering Group were present.
The Steering Group noted that the Secretary had made general changes to the constitution to:
a) more clearly define the purpose of the aims of the Group and the Parish Plan
b) include provision for an Annual General Meeting, and
c) include clearer provision for election of members to the Steering Group
3 ADOPTION OF CONSTITUTION
The Chairman proposed the amended constitution and it was put to a vote. The vote was carried unanimously in favour of adopting the amended constitution.
4 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The Secretary confirmed that the AGM would be held on 15 August 2006 and would ensure publication in the Parish Magazine.
There being no further business, the Chair brought the meeting to a close at 13:00hrs.

Wherever possible the Secretary will circulate the papers for the meetings by electronic means. Members unable to attend a meeting with an outstanding action point are requested to provide an update, either via a paper or verbally, to the Chairman/Secretary. Consideration may be given to publishing the minutes on the Brockham Village website.
